Open it and the disguise holds — a week to a spread, six clean blocks, cream paper and almost no ruling to argue with. This is the smallest serious diary Hightide make.

At 110 millimetres across it disappears into a coat pocket, and at 150 grams you carry it without negotiation. The cover stock has the soft, slightly dry feel of a well-handled book rather than the slickness of a planner. You end up writing in it the way you would a notebook, which is very much the intention.
