We have created the Index Sticky Notes (Friends of Moominvalley) featuring designs based on Moomin, which was created in 1945 by Tove Jansson, Finland's beloved author, painter and artist.

Featuring Moomintroll, Snufkin, Little My and other characters from the stories, these colourful film sticky notes are shaped like character silhouettes that look adorable even when layered together.

Stick them on so that they peek out of your techo to serve as index tabs, or use them to mark important notes and upcoming plans you want to highlight. You can also write on them directly with a pen or pencil, and we recommend oil-based ink or pencil, as gel and water-based inks may take longer to dry.

They are compact enough to tuck into your techo cover pocket or slip inside your Weeks. Carry them with you everywhere and enjoy adding a splash of colour to your techo every day.

Tove Jansson (1914-2001) was a Finnish-Swedish writer and artist, who achieved worldwide fame as the creator of the stories about the Moomins, written and illustrated between 1945 and 1977. The Moomin family and their friends live an adventurous life in the idyllic and peaceful Moominvalley in harmony with nature. They are a family of white and roundish trolls with large snouts.

Clever Details That Count

  • Silhouettes that layer: Each tab is cut to a character's outline, so stacking three or four along one edge never turns into a muddle. You get a little parade down the page instead.
  • Film, not paper: The PET film is slim and faintly slippery under a fingertip, and it will not soften or fray at the corner you thumb open every single day.
  • Nine designs, fifteen sheets each: That is 135 tabs in a pack barely thicker than a card, so you can be generous with them all year rather than rationing the good ones.
