The Kleid Marechal Ring Notebook - Grid is what happens when heritage paper meets quietly confident modern design. Its full-foil cover, crafted from durable PP, feels reassuringly sturdy without becoming cumbersome. The ring binding allows the notebook to lie comfortably open, so your hand never wrestles awkwardly with the spine. Writing remains the main event, as it should be.

Inside, you’ll find Japan’s finest OK Fools Paper — a premium writing paper inspired by British Foolscap, the very paper that famously appeared in 19th-century tales such as Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle. The result is a sheet with beautiful laid texture and watermark detailing, smooth under the pen and reliably absorbent. Fountain pens glide across it with composure; ink behaves impeccably.

The 2mm grid strikes a rare balance. It offers structure without severity, guiding your notes while preserving the freedom of a plain page. Subtle page-dividing guides allow you to split each sheet vertically and into three horizontal sections — ideal for organising projects, schedules or thoughtful ramblings. The grid print is gentle on the eyes, never intrusive.
