Usually, it can be quite difficult to tell the temperature of running water either in your bathroom or in your kitchen. The most common way most people do this is by putting out their hands and allowing the water to run over them. While this is a pretty effective way to tell, it can also be dangerous. For example, the water may be very hot but for one reason or the other, you can’t see the steam. Once you put your hand in it, you’re going to get hurt. The same goes for if the water is very cold. This becomes even more important when you have an elderly person in the house. They will most likely be unable to tell the temperature of the water easily, and touching it may cause pretty serious burns.

Now think about this, what if there was a tool that could offer you a way to tell at a glance the temperature of your running water? That would contribute a lot in terms of safety, right? But the most likely question on your mind is, “What tool is that, and how do I get my hands on it?” This tool is the colour-changing temperature sensor tap nozzle, to answer your question. Yes, this very same tap nozzle. Keep reading to find out how it works!

This LED temperature sensor nozzle allows you to know the temperature of water from your taps without actually touching it. How? Changing LED lights. When this nozzle is installed, and in use, you will notice three different colours as far as the temperature sensing function is concerned:
The colour is blue when the water is cold (below 31 degrees).
It will be green when the water temperature is between 33 and 40 degrees, indicating warm water.
When the colour is red, the water is hot (44-50 degrees).
A flashing red colour indicates the water temperature is above 51 degrees. This way you can avoid being scalded.

Of course, it's important that the functionality of any tool not be at the expense of its durability. This is why this LED temperature sensor nozzle is built with corrosion-resistant ABS chrome, so it'll last a long time. This sensor also has a leak-proof rubber gasket screen.

And the best thing about this LED nozzle is that it doesn't require any battery or external power source to work. This device is designed such that the lights come on immediately whenever there's water running through the nozzle.
